Mauldin Gardens is located in the city of Mauldin, with nearby major roads consisting of Laurens Road, Butler Road, and Main St. The community is approximately three miles from Woodruff Road where there are many businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, retail shop and Sam’s Club. Interstates 85 and 385 are near the property also. In addition, public transportation passes right by the property.
Mauldin is full of family-friendly activities, great restaurants, over 30 acres of parks, arts and culture, and so much more. Concerts, theatre, classes, festivals and community events are hosted at the Mauldin Cultural Center. Almost 30,000 people use the facility each year and over 1,000 different events take place annually. Mauldin Sports Center is a full-service membership workout facility features state-of-the -art equipment, gymnasium, a wide array of classes, and a 30-foot rock climbing wall. Mauldin has over 70 acres of parks. Sunset Park, the largest park, is also home to one of the only wheelchair-accessible softball field in the Southeast. About 3,000 children and seniors are active members of Mauldin Recreation programs. The recreation department operates youth sports leagues in baseball, softball, football, basketball, cheerleading and soccer. For active seniors, the Ray W. Hopkins Mauldin Senior Center offers a large gymnasium and full activities schedule.
